Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes, at no additional cost! We encourage you to gift the ticket to someone who will take advantage of the networking opportunities and learning environment with fellow engineers. Click here to learn how to transfer your ticket.



What time does the conference start and end? When should I arrive and leave Atlanta?

The conference begins every day with our included breakfast at 8 AM and the first talk starting promptly at 10 AM. Each day ends at 7 PM. You should arrive in Atlanta on 9/13 to receive the whole experience from our team and local businesses offering unique experiences for our attendees. If you’re coming for a workshop, arrive on 9/12 to ensure you're here for your workshop starting at 10 AM on 9/13. The conference ends on 9/15 with an afterparty sponsored by G2i featuring DJ Hourglass from 9 PM until 1 AM on 9/16.



Where should I stay in Atlanta?

We decided not to offer an official attendees host hotel to ensure that everyone feels comfortable with their choice of stay. In place of this, we advise on our website that the best area adjacent to the event center is The Centennial Olympic Park Area of Atlanta. Please visit our location page to learn more.





I have a dietary or ADA needs requirement; how can I ensure the conference will meet my needs?

When purchasing tickets, several questions were asked regarding your dietary or ADA needs requirements. Please ensure your ticket is accurately filled out to ensure we’re able to satisfy your needs. View your tickets, and once on the page, click on “change” to begin editing your ticket information.



I'm with the press, how can I receive a media pass?

Please visit our media pass request form by clicking here. Please note, media credentials will be required to be shown for your pass to be issued.



Do I need to have a rapid COVID test even if I bring my vaccination card or negative COVID-19 PCR test?

Yes! Everyone that will be attending, working, speaking, volunteering and more inside the event center must take a rapid COVID test onsite before entering the conference. Please refer to our COVID-19 policies page for more information.



How can I get my information to sponsors before the event; I’m looking for a new job?

You can upload your resume via your ticket information page. Please use the ticket lookup tool (click here) to retrieve your ticket(s). You should receive an email with your tickets afterward if the lookup were successful. View your tickets, and once on the page, click on “change” to begin editing your ticket information. Be on the lookout in the coming weeks for additional details on how to provide additional information to be better prepared for interacting with our hiring sponsors.





What is there to do in Atlanta beyond the conference?

Good question! We've put together an Instagram guide with some great local places beyond the walls of the conference. Be sure to follow our Instagram page for additional guides with official local conference partners offering attendees discounts at their establishments.



Is parking free at the event center?

Yes, parking at The Gathering Spot (event center) is free for all attendees. No parking sticker/stamp is required; park wherever you want on the premises.



Are masks required to be worn?

Our mask policy is fluid and will correspond with the recommend CDC policies. All attendees will receive a complimentary disposable set of masks in their swag bag.



When will the schedule of speakers be released?

The speaker schedule will be released two weeks before the event but is subject to change.



The conference was rescheduled and I can't make it, what about my ticket?

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds. Conference tickets are transferrable, allowing you the ability to resell your ticket. Click here to learn how to transfer your ticket.



How should I dress?

However, you want! But you will want to be comfortable enough to walk around, interact, and lounge around the event center with your fellow attendees.



Is there a community app or Discord for all the attendees to communicate?

More details on our official conference app will be provided as we get closer to the event. Expect to receive details on which app to download two weeks before the event.



What’s the ultimate goal of this year’s conference?

While COVID has put a damper on how many could attend, we’re grateful for those that can. That’s why our goal for this year’s conference is to facilitate conversations and reunions between colleagues and friends that haven’t been able to interact since the start of the pandemic physically.



Are travel discounts still available?

Do I have to bring my COVID vaccine card?

Yes, you will need to bring your physical card if you are vaccinated. However, your vaccine card will only need to be shown once to our staff upon your arrival. Please read our COVID policy for the event and be familiar with the expectations of our attendees and our staff to ensure everyone’s health and safety.
